French Croissants 🇫🇷

French croissants

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 cup cold butter, cubed
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp yeast
  • 1 tsp salt

Method:

  1. Mix yeast, milk, sugar, and flour to make dough.
  2. Chill dough, fold in butter to create layers.
  3. Roll and shape croissants.
  4. Proof and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15–20 minutes.

Italian Tiramisu 🇮🇹

Tiramisu dessert

Ingredients:

  • 6 egg yolks
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup mascarpone
  • 1 1/2 cups coffee, cooled
  • 24 ladyfingers
  • Cocoa powder for dusting

Method:

  1. Beat yolks and sugar until creamy.
  2. Fold in mascarpone.
  3. Dip ladyfingers in coffee and layer with cream.
  4. Chill 4 hours, dust with cocoa powder before serving.

Japanese Mochi 🇯🇵

Mochi sweets

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup glutinous rice flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Potato starch for dusting
  • Red bean paste (optional)

Method:

  1. Mix flour, sugar, and water in a microwave-safe bowl.
  2. Microwave 2 minutes, stir, microwave 2 more minutes.
  3. Dust surface with starch, shape mochi, fill with red bean paste if desired.

Mexican Conchas 🇲🇽

Conchas pastries

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp yeast
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • Eggs, 2
  • Concha topping (sugar, butter, flour)

Method:

  1. Mix ingredients to form dough.
  2. Let rise 1 hour.
  3. Shape into conchas, add topping.
  4. Bake 375°F (190°C) for 20 min.
